How to create Photo frame within a Photo

This Tutorial will guide us through out step by step procedures on how to create a photo frame within a photo. below is how the final image will be

Start by opening you image in Photoshop

create a copy of the background Layer
Layer - New - Layer Via Copy
and the new Layer named layer 1 will be created above background layer

Select the rectangle tool and set it as follows

 
Now draw smaller rectangle inside your image, you will have something like this

Now drag Rectangle 1 Layer below Layer 1

With Layer 1 active, create a clipping mask

Now select the Rectangle 1 Layer,then add layer style ( click on fx) and select drop shadow, set as follows

Click CTRL+T to resize the rectangle as desired once done click OK

 Click on the Background Layer to make it active, with background layer selected create new adjustment layer black and white
Set reds to 37 and yellows to 79

How to create Stained Glass Effect

In this Tutorial we will learn how to transform an image into Stained Glass effect.
This is a very simple tutorial even for beginners
This is what we are going to achieve at the end of the tutorial

First, Open you image in Photoshop and duplicate the Layer

To duplicate go to later palette and click on the background layer, right click on that layer and then click duplicate layer
To achieve Stained Grass effect, simply go to FILTER - SKETCH - PHOTOCOPY
then click on TEXTURE and select Stained Glass

Light intensity helps to balance photo light, play with it to achiave desired effect
Cell Size helps to increase/descrease the size of stained glass, i recommend you use small size to achieve the most accurate output of this effect
Border Thickness set border thickness size between one stained glass and another

Once you are done click on and that's it

How to create half tone border with Photoshop

This Tutorial will guide you through the simple step by step guides on how to create a halftone border in photohsop

Final Image

Open you image in Photoshop

Create a new layer above background layer and name it halftone or anything you like

Fill the new created Layer with white

Edit – Fill

When fill box appear use White Color

  

Grab rectangle marquee Tool and draw a rectangle inside the halftone layer

Then fill the rectangle with black, outer rectangle will be white and the inside rectangle will be black

Click on CTRL+D to deselect

Apply Gaussian Blur

Filter – Blur – Gaussian blur

Set blur as you desire, the more blur you set the more amount of halftone

Set blending mode to Scree then you are done

Open your image in Photoshop

Remove image’s background, take the tutorial here

De saturation the image

Image-Adjustment-De saturation

Open new layer below active layer and name it you desire

Layer – New - Layer

With new created layer selected Press ALT+DELETE to fill the Layer with black

Note: To achieve this you need to set fore background color black

Now we need to make composite snapshot of the image

Click on the original image layer then click CTRL+SHIFT+ALT+DELETE

Now click on the new composite image and save it in Photoshop format

We need to darken the image, simply open levels on simply click on CTRL+L and drag white output level between 110 - 120

Open pen tool, let it cover the whole image

Pen size 12, Smooth and Left Alignment, Color White, Text type Arial

Go to window and choose character, and set as below

We are now going to make text wrap on the face

Filter – Distort – Displace

Click OK when a window appear, 

Set Horizontal and Vertical Scale to 5, other settings should be as below then click OK

Choose displacement map, and select the file you saved, then change layer mode to overlay

Click CTRL +J to make copy of the layer

Create new color adjustment layer and choose gradient

Change blend mode to color

Double click the gradient tool on layer palette and choose the gradient color you like
